The Agricultural Research Institute is the best private domestic institute researching the development of technology and products such as crop protection and environment-friendly pesticides. It is the official national testing institute examining the density of crop protection, the effects of the chemicals, the remnants chemicals, the degree of virulence, and the effect it will have on fish living in chemically contaminated water. The new herbicide Metamifop and the new low-toxic insecticide Bistrifluron were developed to target the world market. The crop protection field also handles the research of new formulations, the testing of side-effects on mixed chemicals, applying and expansion tests, the development of a disposal process, the testing of regional adaptability, and the reformation of the production process.
  Main Research Field
Crop Protection : The school and industry have merged to research and develop a low-dose, highly effective, and environment-friendly product. It is also systematically studying and developing a formulation that reduces the amount of labor and is nature-friendly and harmless to humans and animals. Also research on pest prevention, crop raising, and search for micro-organisms effective in disease tolerance is being done. By applying this research, environment-friendly, highly effective, microbial crop protection is being developed.
