Since its establishment
in 1977, Dongbu Fine Chemicals has been focusing
on the fine chemicals business of producing
agrochemicals technicals and organic intermediates
and is now registered to produce and sell
60 varieties of insecticides, fungicides and
herbicides. |

With the knowledge accumulated
while developing fine chemicals intermediates, advanced
expertise in synthesis has been acquired, enabling
the production of state of- the-art products that
are valued by customers nationwide.
Equipped with pilot operation and multi-purpose
manufacturing facilities in the Banwol plant, the
Company is devoted to innovate three new products
for commercialization every year. Supporting the
realization of this goal are the specialized researchers
that staff the Fine Chemicals Technology Institute,
the largest research facility in the domestic industry.
At present, Dongbu Fine Chemicals produce over 20
items of agrochemicals technicals and agrochemicals
intermediates, which are reputed for their quality
worldwide.
In diversifying its chemicals business, Dongbu Fine
Chemicals expanded its operations in its toll-manufacturing
business, which contributed to the development of
core technologies. To further expand profit sources,
the Company plans to increase focus on its pharmaceutical
and organic intermediate business and enter overseas
markets by promoting its image as a reliable manufacturer
of high-quality agrochemicals technicals. To ensure
successful market entry, appropriate alliances with
overseas partners will be sought and ceaseless efforts
will be made to ensure the utmost in customer satisfaction.
